MRS. ALICE B. TROUT DIES IN LANDISVILLE
Mrs. Alice B. Trout, 79 years old, widow of George S. Trout, died Monday evening at 10:45 at her home in Landisville. Death was caused by a complication of diseases after an illness of four weeks. She was born in Kreadyville, and was a daughter of the late Daniel and Barbara Witmer Hess. She was a member of the Reformed Mennonite church for forty-five years.
The surviving children are: Dr. W. H. Trout and Charles H. Trout, this city; Sue S., wife of Benjamin E. Forry, Columbia; Myrtle H., wife of B. Frank Dombach, Landisville; G. Frank and Barbara at home. A sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoover resides at Mountville; a brother, Witmer J. Hess, at Philadelphia, and a brother, Edward Hess at St. Louis.
The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon. A private service at 1:30 will be followed by a public service at 2 o'clock in the Landisville Reformed Mennonite church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
