GORDO - Noland Anthony Maughan, 74, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 22, 1976.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Salem Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Pearson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Stabler Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Maughan was church secretary and treasurer for Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gordo.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Marie Parham and Mrs. Lena Hobson, both of Tuscaloosa, and Mrs. Nona Mayfield of Northport; four brothers, Floyd Maughan and Barney Maughan, both of Northport, L.C. Maughan of Gordo, and Roy Maughan of Holt.
