Paul Warren Gile was born April 18, 1926 in Scandia, Kansas to Richard C. and Mary E. (Curry) Gile.

Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 58, for 41 years and owned and operated his own plumbing and heavy equipment business.

Paul retired on disability in 1977 and has battled severe pain and impaired movement for many years, the last three being bedfast and lovingly attended to by his wife and family.

He is survived by brothers; Roscoe, from Pueblo, and Richard and Clyde, from Scandia, KS. Also by his wife of 62 years, Ivanore (Gilland) Gile, sons; Jeffrey and Rex, granddaughters; Laura and Kanika, greatgrandson, Willy, all of Colorado Springs.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Opal Braden, and brothers; Merrill, Lawrence, Douglas and Newell.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Blunt Mortuary Chapel with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
