Last Rites Held Here For Elmer Neville
Funeral services for Samuel Elmer Neville, 65, of Akron, Colo., were held Dec. 6 at the east Shum-Novinger Funeral Home here with Rev. J. Milton Kinney officiating. Mr. Neville died Dec. 2, 1965, at a hospital in Akron. Interment was at Washington Cemetery, Gravity.
Samuel Elmer Neville, son of Samuel and Clara Etta Neville, was born at Gravity, Iowa, Oct. 20, 1900.
His father, mother and one sister preceded him in death.
He was united in marriage to Louretta Crawford in 1924. To this union were born four children: Bernard of Long Beach, Calif.; Walter of Denver, Colo.; Irene Eddie of Douglas, Wyo.; Alice Hunter of Steam Boat Springs, Colo.
Mr. Neville farmed in the Gravity vicinity, moving to Akron about 30 years ago where he was a construction worker until his retirement.
He is survived by his children; one brother, Floyd Neville of Akron, Colo.; two sisters, Lila Parks of Toppenish, Wash., and Hazel Barrager of Clarinda, Ia.
