Dies In Capital

Mrs. Charlotte B. Roller, wife of Frank C. (Chuck) Roller, and a daughter of Mrs. Victoria Shifflett Hensley and the late John Hensley and native and former resident of the Elkton community, died at 4:25 Saturday afternoon at the Emergency Hospital in Washington.

Mrs. Roller had not been well for the past six months and had been a patient in the Washington Hospital since Easter Monday. Little hope had been held for her recovery in recent weeks.

A daughter of Mrs. Victoria Shifflett Hensley and the late John Hensley, she was born in the Elkton community where she spent the early years of her life. She later was employed in Albany, N. Y. for a period of ten years.

On September 6, 1938 she married Frank C. (Chuck) Roller and since their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Roller had resided in Washington. Their present home in Washington is 1113 K Street, N. W.

Mr. Roller, who in former years was employed by the Dally News-Record, is associated with the Washington Star.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: her mother, of Harrisonburg and Martinsburg; she is survived by four sisters; Mrs. Fred Matthews, and Mrs. Gray Rind, both of Martinsburg, W. Va,; and Mrs, Gladys Golebtta, of Washington; and Mrs. Arthur Rhodes, of Harrisonburg. She also leaves five brothers, Dallas Hensley, of Bridgewater: and Frank, Louis, Nelson, and Vincent Hensley, all of Laurel, Md.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the chapel of the Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. The Rev. J . E. Grasty will conduct the services and burial will be in the McGaheysville cemetery.

The body will be returned to Harrisonburg this morning and will rest at the Lindsey Funeral Home where relatives, friends, and pallbearers are asked to meet Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Roller will arrive in Harrisonburg late this afternoon and will be at the home of his mother, Mrs. Laura Roller, 291 Newman Avenue, Apt. 2, until after the funeral services.
