Little baby Orrie was the 7 month old daughter of William and Luvena Todd Blankenship. Orrie was a 1st cousin, 1x rem. to me. My great aunt Luvena or "Vinie" as she was called in the family, was very ill after Orrie was born so they moved in with her parents Ardelia and M.L. Todd. My great grandmother Ardelia was caring for them both. Aunt Vinie died when Orrie was only a month old. The Todd family continued caring for Orrie and her siblings but six months later, baby Orrie died also. We do not know what she died from but such a sad thing for this family to lose their daughter and granddaughter. They now lie next to each other here in Mill Creek Cemetery not far from Ardelia and Marksey Todd.
