Ralph H. Hensley

The Rev. Ralph Howard Hensley, 85, of Route 1, McGaheysville died Jan. 2, 1994, at the Life Care Center in New Market.

Mr. Hensley was born July 31, 1908, in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Adam Lewin Hensley and Mary Lam Hensley.

He was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Church in McGaheysville. On April 13, 1929, he married the former Veredia Williams, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Ralph Delmar Hensley of Mount Crawford; two daughters, Bernice Good of Harrisonburg and Emma Jean Dovel of Hardy, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The Revs. Keith Powers and William Strickler will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Full Gospel Assembly Church.

Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.
