A.J. Bryan married Fannie Fisher on 27 May 1894 in the Indian Mound Community. The couple spent the first years of their marriage in Graham where he was employed with the John E. Morrison company and the S.R. Crawford Company. They later moved to the Spring Creek Community in Throckmorton County where they lived for seven years before moving to their last homesite several miles east of Graham on the Jacksboro Highway. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
