Former Warren Woman, Mrs. Ora Eltzroth Dies at 89
Former Warren resident, Mrs. Ora (Nettie) Eltzroth, 89, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Huntington where she had resided the past four years.
A member of the Church of Christ in Warren, Mrs. Eltzroth was born Oct. 22, 1894 in Wells County to Amber B. and Schrilda I. Dalrymple Day. Her marriage to Ora B. Eltzroth, who died Sept. 2, 1946, took place Sept. 27, 1923.
Surviving are two sons, Harry Eltzroth and Ralph Eltzroth, both of Warren; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Barnes of Short Hills, N.J., and Mrs. Arnold (Marie) Fricke of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Shaw of the United Methodist Home in Warren, 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
After 7 p.m. today friends will be received at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home in Warren.
At 1 p.m. Sunday the body will be taken to the Church of Christ in Warren for services at 2 p.m. in charge of Jim Lloyd. Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery at Browns Corner.
