Inez Norris, 89, Dies; Services Saturday at Warren

A former resident of Warren and Buckeye, Inez A. Norris, 89, of Linn Grove, died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday at Jay County Hospital in Portland, where she had been a patient the last month. She had been ill several years.

Born Nov. 7, 1892 in Wells County, she was a daughter of Amber and Shrilda Dalrymple Day. Her marriage Nov. 7, 1912 in Bluffton was to Walter Norris, who died April 16, 1979

Mrs. Norris was a member of the Church of Christ in Warren and the World War II Mothers 85 of Warren.

Surviving are seven sons, Sylvester E. of Star City, Walter O. of Fort Wayne, Verlin R. of Hartford City, Marvin L. of Berne, Earl W. of Purvis, Miss., Roy E. of Portland and Lewis G. of Keystone; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Eltzroth of Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Huntington and Mrs. Margaret Shaw of Warren Methodist Home, 39 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren.

Calling will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until services at 4 p.m. Saturday at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home in Warren. Jim Lloyd will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Warren.
