CHILDRESS - Oma Lee Russell, 94, died Monday, Feb. 24, 1997. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ivan Allen of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Mrs. Russell was born in Waxahachie. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was a homemaker. She married Fate Russell in 1921 at Childress. He died in 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Maurine Little of Amarillo; a son, Carson Russell of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
