Maurine Little, 89, of Amarillo died Tuesday, May 26, 2015.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Church of Christ at The Colonies. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Maurine was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Childress to Fate and Oma Lee Russell. She married David Little on Dec. 19, 1942. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1989. Maurine was a member of Church of Christ at The Colonies. She retired from Amarillo Independent School District.

Survivors include three daughters, Dava Carter and DeRima Johnson, both of Amarillo, and Brenda Hicks of Dallas; a son, Russell Little of Houston; a brother, Carson Russell of Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

The family suggests memorials be to Church of Christ at The Colonies, 4500 Wesley Road, Amarillo, TX 79119.
