Gaylord Adams Rites are Held

Funeral services for Gaylord Adams, 61, retired local bank manager, who died at the family home, 615 Orchard Drive, Friday night, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Pinnick-Coleman chapel. The Rev. B. Stanley Moore officiated. Vault entombment followed in the Sunset Memorial park mausoleum.

Adams, son of William L. Adams, pioneer schoolmaster and manager and major shareholder in the Hoquiam National bank, was educated in the local schools. He entered the bank here and was manager in the early 1930's. He retired many years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Leal, at the family home; daughters Mrs. Carroll Hall, Winslow, and Mrs. Annleal Smith, Hoquiam; son Keldon Adams, Ketchikan, Alaska; sisters Mrs. Gwenivere Lamoreaux, Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth Cunningham, Yakima, brother William L. Adams, Jr., Yakima; and six grandchildren.
