Walter W Henninger, 4284 Roosevelt Highway, Holley, N.Y., died Sunday at 6 a.m. in the Rochester General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug 17, 1915 at Spruce Creek, the son of George C. and Bertha M. (Anspach) Henninger. He was married Aug 17, 1938, at Tyrone to Ethel Liner.
He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Guiliani, Port Richey, Fla, Shirley Mae Henninger and Larry Henninger, both at home, and one grandson.
He is also survived by two sisters, and a brother, Mrs. Agatha Armstrong, Buffalo, N..Y.: Joseph Henninger, Somerset, and Mrs. Grace Liner, Port Matilda RD.
He was of the Presbyterian faith and a army veteran of World War II.
A self-employed contractor, he retired in 1968 due to disability.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home. Tyrone, with the Rev. R.Ray Evielan Officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be made in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Port Matilda.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
