Dora H. Burnett, 93, lifetime St. Paul resident, died at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday June 5, 1984 at the Labette County Medical Center, Parsons. She had been ill since November.
She was born December 29, 1890 at St. Paul to Martin and Mary Renner Lero. She attended the Lone Elm Country School and St. Francis High School at St. Paul.
Mrs. Burnett was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, St. Paul, the Daughters of Isabella and the Altar Society. On February 28, 1911 she married Joseph Burnett. He died in 1980.
Survivors include two sons, William Burnett, St. Paul, and Leroy Burnett, Parsons; a daughter Olive Stevens, Bella Vista, Ark.; One brother, Charles Lero, St. Paul; one sister Teresa Spielbusch, Piqua; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grand-children. She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. Luke Connally, C.P., officiating. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery. The Daughters of Isabella recited the rosary at 3:30 p.m. Thursday and the parish rosary wa said at 7 p.m.
