Mrs. Albracht was born April 25, 1920, at Lindsay to John and Clara (Schaefer) Bierman. She attended St. Bernard Schools.
She married Walter Albracht, June 20, 1940, at St. Bernard. They lived in Rock Island, Illinois, for a short time and then returned to Lindsay. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the church where she was an EME. She was active in the Ladies Guild and Sewing Circle.
Survivors include seven sons, James (Ann) of Grand Island, Ronald (Janet) of Madison, John (Marie) and Joseph (Barb) all of Columbus, Eugene (Colleen) of Newman Grove, Gerald (Karen) and David (Nancy) all of Lindsay; one daughter, Mary (Dale) Hemmer of Humphrey; two brothers, Eugene Bierman of Columbus and Cyril Bierman of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Imelda Loeffler of Columbus, Bernice Syslo of Fullerton and Elaine Konwinski of Silver Creek; 28 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 26, 1991, two brothers, one in infancy.
Memorials may be given to donors' choice. The Newman Grove Funeral Home of Newman Grove is in charge of the arrangements.
