BAKER , PETE age 43 - of Concord, son of Janie Baker and the late G. C. Baker , passed away Monday evening, September 13, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospice Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. In addition to his mother, Pete is survived by: his partner and endless love, Beverly R. Cockrum, with whom he made his home, and their faithful dog Oscar brother, Chuck Baker of Concord sister, Nancy Rogers of Maryville Claire, Cindy, Marsha and Mark all of Phoenix AZ The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. A graveside service will follow at the Union Cemetery with Rev. James Titcomb and Mr. Tony Miller officiating. Pall bearers, David McGinnis, Fred Sumners, Joe Mathis, Ponder Wilmouth, Rocky Souza and Glen Vanosdale. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter, 3125 Division Street, Knoxville, TN 37919. Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel 11915 Kingston Pike is serving the Baker family.
