Charles M. Gilliland

Charles M. Gilliland, aged 80, of 818 South Broadview, died Tuesday evening in a local hospital. He was a retired painter and decorator.

Mr. Gilliland was born August 26, 1870, at Independence, Kan. He had been a resident of Wichita for 50 years, coming here from Winfield, Kan. He was united in marriage to Miss Ina Longwell, June 28, 1904, in Wichita and was a member of the Nazarene church here.

Survivors include his wife, Ina, of the home address; five sisters, Mrs. Guy Blades and Mrs. Josephine Jarvis, both of Route 3, Wichita; Mrs. Alice E. Stephens, of Shawnee, Okla.; Mrs. Nellie Booth and Mrs. R. J. Hudson, both of Omaha, Neb.; and a brother, E. B. Gilliland, of Los Angeles, Cal.

Funeral service arrangements be announced by the Byrd-Snodgrass funeral home. Burial Will take place in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

C. M. Gilliland Rites To Be Held on Friday

Funeral services for Charles M. Gilliland, aged 79, of 818 South Broadview, who died Tuesday evening in a local hospital, will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the chapel of the Byrd-Snodgrass funeral home. Rev. Dale Severin and Rev. John W. Youngman, Nazarene church, will officiate and burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
