Mrs. Piro attended schools in Niagara Falls, Ontario and came to Niagara Falls, NY in 1933. For twenty five years, Angeline worked for the Niagara Falls Board of Education in their Housekeeping Department until her retirement in the early 1970's.
Mrs. Piro was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls, NY, a member of the Anime Sante Del Purgatorio Society of St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY and a former member of the Golden Agers Club. Angeline's life centered around her family. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, playing cards, and was a Buffalo Bills fan.
Mrs. Piro is survived by one daughter, Mary Rose Thomas of Lewiston, NY, and was predeceased by one son, Carmen Piro. Survivors also include nine grandchildren; Lisa Szalach, Mark Thomas, Robert Thomas, Lou Thomas, and Rene' Penale all of Lewiston, NY; Gary Thomas of Sanborn, NY; and James Thomas, David Piro, and Gina Pasquantino all of Niagara Falls, NY; and sixteen great grandchildren, four sisters, Virginia Marazzo, Jean St. Jean, Mary Coccimiglio, and Theresa Giagnorio all of Niagara Falls, Ontario, one brother, Joseph Marazzo of Vancouver, BC, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Piro was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Melesh and Helen Storrie, and five brothers, Michael Marazzo, Frank Marazzo, Sam Marazzo, Anthony Marazzo, and Neil Marazzo.
