Cohen Lee, 81, died Feb. 2 at Satilla Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Bacon County, a retired farmer and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Alma Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Hazel Mattox Lee of Alma, two sons, Denney C. Lee of Alma and Tony Lee of Blackshear, a daughter, Lynette Moore of Alma, a brother, Jessie Lee of Raeford, N.C.m, four sisters, Kathleen Tyre of Waycross, Juanita Gooden and Margaret Thornton, both of Alma, and Beatrice Hinman of Albany, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Alma Church of God with burial in Old Pine Grove Cemetery with military honors.
