Jim Bolch, 87, died on Christmas Day in Fairfield.
He was born in Red River County, Texas and moved to Napa on July 4, 1941.
He enlisted in the Army 24 June 1942 where he served honorably until the end of the war.
He worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, retiring in December 1974.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Belle Bolch; his parents, James and Gertrude Bolch; and two great grandchildren, David and Emily Bloomquist.
Survivors include his daughters, Peggy Jensen of Hidden Valley Lake, Mary Bolch of Fort Mojave, AZ, Patricia St. Cyr of Lower Lake and Susan Barbarick of Vacaville; grandchildren, Doug St. Cyr, Kimberly Rojas, Tim St. Cyr, Deborah Bloomquist, Steven St. Cyr, Kevin St. Cyr, Adam St. Cyr and Anthony Barbarick; and great grandchildren, Taylar and Emmalee Rojas.
Services were held at the family home on Thursday. Internment was private at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery.
