On page 7 of "The Daily Capital News" October 29, 1919 is Constant's obituary which reads "Constant LePage dies after a week's illness; funeral to be Thursday. Was a native of the capital city and had many warm friends in the county. The funeral of Constant LePage, 50 years of age, who died yesterday at his home on West Main Street following a stroke of paralysis Tuesday of last week, will be held Thursday afternoon. Since being stricken Mr. LePage's recovery has been very doubtful but at times he seemed to improve and relatives and friends were hopeful but for the past few days his decline has been quite noticeable. Mr. LePage was a native of this city and was well and favorably known in both, Cole and Callaway counties and his death will be quite a shock to this section. Except for a short time spent on his farm in Callaway county, he has always resided in this city. He was married about twenty-five years ago to Miss Lula Epperson of Callaway county. She died about ten years ago. He is survived by one son, Constance LePage, Jr. and an adopted daughter, Miss Stella LePage. Two brothers, former Judge John LePage, and two sisters, Mrs. George Root, and Mrs. Nannie Sone survive him. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Elks Lodge, and had many warm friends in the city who held him in the highest confidence and esteem."
