Born Heinrich Becker at Erlenbach, Russia. He was the son of Katherine Schmidt and Nikalaus Becker who were Germans from the Volga River area of Russia. He immigrated to Canada about 1912, then to Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1920. Henry's first wife is unknown. She died in 1909 at Erlenbach, and their two sons, Gottfried (Fred) and Henry went to Canada with him and his second wife, Elisabeth Wiedeman. Known siblings of Henry are Georg Becker, no other data; Konrad Becker born about 1875 at Erlenbach, died date unknown at Unknown South America and Gottfried Baker 89817495 born 1877 at Erlenbach, died 1917 at Silverwood, Michigan, married Katarina Schimpf.
