Arena Cole Toney Cotton was born to Loyd Cole and Elizabeth Driver on March 6, 1844 in Forsyth Co., Georgia. They were on the 1850 Census, Forsyth Co., Georgia.

Arena married William J Toney on August 18, 1859 in Forsyth Co., Georgia. They are on the 1860 Census Cass Co., Georgia.

Their daughter was born in June 1861.

William was killed in the 2nd Battle of Manassas, Virginia in 1862. Unable to locate Arena on 1870 Census, however, she is on the 1880 Census in Rusk Co., Texas with second husband William Cotton.

She died in November 1910 in Rusk Co., TX and is buried in Crims Chapel Cemetery.

Arena is my 3rd great grandmother.
