Carol J. Harris, 56, of Russell, died Monday at her home.
Mrs. Harris was born Oct. 6, 1944, in Morgan County, a daughter of the late Sam and Mary Lou Price Cantrell.
She was a cook at Raceland First Baptist Church Day Care and member of Greenup First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin F. Harris; two sons, Chris Harris of Bagdad and Jeremy Harris of Russell; two daughters, Teresa Gail Buckley of Berea and Jennifer F. Harris of Russell; a brother, Kenneth Cantrell of Argillite; four sisters, Geraldine Keaton and Judith Ann Fleming, both of Ashland, Katherine Sarven of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Barbara Lyon of Russell; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenup First Baptist Church by Dr. Thomas Melvin. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 tonight at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup and one hour before the service Thursday at the church.
