Wichita Resident Dies at Her Home
Mrs. Linnie Mae McMinimy, 72, of 156 N. Volutsia Ave., died at her home Wednesday.
A resident of Wichita for 50 years, Mrs. McNinimy was born Jan. 24, 1881 at McFall, Mo. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband, Albert, a recently retired reconciling clerk, was with First National Bank for 45 years.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Dr. Donald J., 1015 N. Lightner Dr., and Aubrey M., Conway Springs, Kan.; five brothers, Ross Jones, 4410 W. Central Ave., Brewer, Pomona, Calif., Claude, Kansas City, Mo., George, Murdock, Kan., and Ralph, Norwich; two sisters, Mrs, Leota Moore and Mrs. Maude Robinson, both of Murdock, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Gordon Mortuary. The Rev. F. B. Thorn, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
