∼She was the fourth of nine children born to David Starkey BOND and Mary Elizabeth BUTLER.
She was married to Clarence Michael CAPLE on September 29th, 1897 in Alta Vista, KS.
Together they had four children:
Edna Joy, Ethel Maree, Ona Grace, and Robert David CAPLE.
Grandmother Caple had many talents. She was a stand up comedian wearing white face paint in her act. She could build anything out of scraps or crates including whole buildings. She was a great cook and loved to eat too!
Cause of death: Congestive heart failure & diabetes.

AT HUNTINGTON BEACH--Mrs. Maud Caple, 68, of 422 NinthSt., died at an Orange hospital Monday after a lingering illness. She was a native of Reelsville, IN, and a member of the Latter-day Saints.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ona Lee, of Westminster, Mrs. Blanche Byers, of Long Beach, and Mrs. Joy Norris, of Huntington Beach; one son, Robert Caple of Garden Grove; a brother, Albert Bond of Crowley, CO; four sisters, Mrs. Celia Dyke, of Eagle City, OK, Mrs. Osa Bean, of Crowley, CO, and Mrs. Anna Soderberg and Mrs. Rena Goodman, of Wichita, KS; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at Smith Mortuary tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Rev. W.A. Teagraden, pastor of the Reorganized Latter-day Saints Church of Long Beach, officiating. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Park.
