Charles Coleman, 75, died Sunday,February 4,in Paintsville Hospital after an extended illness.
Born July 22, 1905, in Pike County,he was the son of Harrison and Evelyn Mullins Coleman.
He was a resident of Paintsville, a retired contractor and a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Lenore Price Coleman; 6 sons, Rev. Charlie Coleman of Grove City,OH, Harold Gene, James A. and Paul D. Coleman all of Paintsville, George M. Coleman of Sitka and Herbert Coleman of Joppa,MD; 5 daughters, Jessie Branham, Mrs. Dale Ryan, and Mrs. Marilyn Ruse all of Columbus,OH, Mrs. Vencil Salyer of Paintsville and Mrs. David Mullins of New Carlisle,OH; a brother, Donald Coleman of Wolfpit,KY; 2 sisters, Mrs. Guy H. Justice and Mrs. Virgie Green of Pikeville;25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, February 4, at 1 p.m. in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Dick VanHoose, James Kelly Caudill and John Frank Ratliff officiating.
Burial was in Mayo Cemetery at Paintsville with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
