WICHITAN IS DEAD
Mrs. Matilda Hillgardner, 72, of 1432 Coolidge, died this morning in a hospital. Mrs. Hillgardner was born in Bracken county Kentucky, May 31, 1871. She came to Wichita from Kansas City, Kansas, in 1922. Mrs. Hillgardner was a member of the Baptist church. She is survived by her husband, Julius Hillgardner, 1432 Coolidge; one daughter, Mrs. Phil Manning, 1432 Coolidge; one son, Elmer, 1611 North Broadway; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10, Friday morning in the Broadway mortuary chapel, the Reverend Armand Bass of the Riverside Christian church officiating. Interment will be in the Wichita Park cemetery.
