The former Veronica Steiner was born Feb. 5, 1900, in Charlesburg, a daughter of the late John and Anna Achter Steiner. On Oct. 17, 1922, she married Roman Keuler at Charlesburg. He died Oct. 14, 1931. She was employed at Aluminum Specialty Co., Chilton, for more than 25 years. Mrs. Keuler was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton, its Christian Mothers Society, the Daughter of Isabella, the V.F.W. Post No. 3153 Auxiliary, Chilton Senior Citizens, and Calumet Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Bernice) Hertel of Ellenton, Florida and Mrs. Alphonse (Cleta) Woelfel of Chilton; a son, Glenroy of Green Bay; 17 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; 16 great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Freund of New Holstein.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a stepgrandson, five sisters and five brothers.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. Pualinus Kraemer, pastor, and Rev. Carl Steiner, a nephew, of Kimberly, concelebrated the Mass. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery.
