Bill Collins,
69, of Butler, Ky., passed away on Saturday February 28, 2004 at the St. Luke East Hospital, Ft. Thomas, Ky., he worked for 23 years at Powell Valve, Cincinnati, Ohio, his enjoyment before retiring was softball into which he was elected into The Ky. Softball Hall of Fame on January 12, 1985, he also enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a Ky. Colonel and very kindhearted and always willing to give a helping hand. He was the brother of the late Lee and Edward Collins.
Survivers include his wife, Wanda, daughters, Mona Spangler, Grants Lick, Ky., Tina Cunningham, Foster, Ky., sons, Bill Collins, California, Ky., Tim Collins, Alexandria, Ky., sisters, Bonnie Ashcraft, Alexa-ndria, Ky., Margie Hendricks, Butler, Ky., Ruby Herringer, and Ruth Cordell both of Ohio. One brother, Jim Collins, Alexa-ndria, Ky., seven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at The Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick, Ky.
Interment took place in the Alexandria Cemetery, Alexandria, Ky.
