The family includes his wife of Claremont; five sons Harold Smith of Claremont, Robert Smith of Boston, MA, Leonard Smith of Florida [died 1972], Lloyd Smith of Manchester, NH and George Smith of Fresno, CA; three daughters, Rosanna Frasier, Margaret Johnson and Ruth Lavoie all of Claremont; and two brother Arthur Smith of Claremont and Leonard Smith of Acworth, NH.
Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
