He had lived in Claremont for the past thirty one years. He retired from Cone Blanchard Automatic Machine Co in Windsor, VT. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 29. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
He married Rachel Holmes on December 25, 1916 in Waterbury but they later divorced.
He married Dora (Parsons) Willey on October 7, 1924 in Hanover, NH.
Surviving is his wife; son Frank J Blaine Jr and son Harold E Blaine both of Claremont; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister Mary Ferry of Northfield, VT.
Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
