POINT PLEASANT - Michael Lee Wilson, 23, of Point Pleasant, died Saturday following an auto accident.
Born January 15, 1979 in Gallipolis, Ohio, the son of James H. Wilson and Gail (Darst) Wilson, he was a 1997 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and an employee of the city of Point Pleasant.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Marguerite Darst of Point Pleasant; paternal grandmother, Caroline Wilson of Point Pleasant; grandparents, Joe and Betty McCormick of Gallipolis, Ohio; sisters, Katie Wilson of Point Pleasant, and Heidi Wachs of Gallipolis, Ohio; biological mother Debra McCormick of Huntington, W Va, special friend, Prudence Mayes of Point Pleasant; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Services will be 11 am Tuesday, at Deal Funeral Home with Reverend Carrol McCauley and Reverend Larry Albright officiating. Burial will be at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.
Friends may visit from 6-9 pm Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Teen Challenge of Cincinnati, P O Box 249, Milford, Ohio, 45150-8996.
