Death of E. E. Tuttle
Manti is again called upon to mourn the date of a very popular young man, Mr Ed E Tuttle who passed from this life Tuesday afternoon from heart trouble. He has suffered more or less from the ailment for the past few years, although but a few outside his relatives and immediate friends were aware of the seriousness of his trouble.
Edwin E Tuttle was born in this city March 17, 1887 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Tuttle, and has always lived in Manit. He graduated from the Manti high school in 1910 and was president of the Alumni association the current year, and on September 13, 1911, was married to Miss Laura Jensen of this city. That fall he went over to the reservation where he taught school for one year. The next fall he entered the A C U, at Logan, where his health failed him and he was forced to give up his school work.
He is survived by his wife and one child, his father and mother, 7 brothers and two sisters; they are Luther Tuttle Jr. of Provo; R M Tuttle of Idaho Falls; John H Tuttle of Salt Lake; Lawrence Fred, Barton and Lloyd of Manti; Mrs I D Voorhees and Miss Maude Tuttle of this city.
The funeral will be held from the North Ward chapel this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
