Her father died prematurely on 4 Aug 1916, when she was only 4 years 9 months 15 days. On the 1920 Chesapeake, Calvert Co., MD Census, I found widow and farmer Mary S G Wood, 44; daughters: Mable E Wood, 12; Gladys C Wood, 11 and Ethelyn S Wood, 8, plus farm hand Louis P Ward, 26, all MD born.
On the 1940 Ward 20, Baltimore Co., MD, I found Nicholas O Boehl, 32; wife Ethelyn Boehl, 28; son Nicholas Boehl, 7; sister in law Gladys C Wood, 31; cousin Lillian E Trott, 18 and 2 boarders, Paul I Comb, 25 amd Aubrey T Comb, 20, all MD born.
