A lifelong Kellogg resident, Irvin L. Hinshaw, 89, died on Thursday evening. January 20th at his home. Funeral services from the Tolan Funeral Home, in Newton, Rev. Morris Hay of Kellogg officiating. Burial in the Amboy Center Friends Cemetery.
The son of Wash and Mary Beals Hinshaw, he was born on May 24, 1876, at Kellogg, and was educated in the local schools.
On December 29, 1901, he married Izora Benson.
He was a rural mail carrier in the Kellogg area for 30 years.
