News From Alderson
Alderson, Aug 12 - B L Smith, aged 72 years, died suddenly of apoplexy at his home on Wolf Creek Mountain at about 5 o'clock Monday afternoon, August 8, 1910. Deceased was an excellent man and had resided in Monroe county all his life. He was twice married, his first wife being Miss Amanda Tincher, to which union was born eight children. His second wife was Miss Fannie Murdock and she with seven children survive. The remains were laid to rest Tuesday afternoon on the home place.
