Teresa birth was recorded as being at New England, Virginia(WV). Her father, Roman Weser, returned to Germany briefly in 1866 and when he returned - he was accompanied by Reinhard Stehle. Reinhard and Roman were both from the village of Binsdorf in southern Germany. Reinhard and Teresa were married in Wood County, West Vriginia and had their first two children there. In the 1870's they moved to Marietta where they had six more children. In 1884, Reinhard bought land and moved to Harmar Hill in Marietta.
