Galena, Kan., March 8.—Mrs. Ella Dark, 74 years old, died at 1:30 o'clock this morning at her home, 2123 Short street, following a six months' illness with a complication of diseases. She had resided in Galena thirty-eight years.
Surviving are two sons, Mode Dark of Galena, former deputy sheriff in Cherokee county, and Charles Dark of Oklahoma City, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence, with the Rev. Miles C. Cook, pastor of the Christian church, in charge. Burial will be in the Galena cemetery.
