Mrs. Hazel McConkey Moose, 58, 118 Finley Ave., died at 10:50 p.m. Monday at Guernsey Memorial Hospital shortly after admission. A daughter of the late William T. and Almeda Cramblett McConkey, she was born at Odell Sept. 28, 1902. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
On Feb. 17, 1919, she was married to Fred Moose who survives. She also leaves four sons, Fred E., Leroy, Russell and Roger, all of Cambridge; four daughters, Mrs. Nora Tolbert of New Philadelphia, Mrs. Bertha Link of Dover and Mrs. Pauline Long and Mrs. Doris Jane sic Abel of Cambridge; one brother, James McConkey, Cambridge; nine grandchildren. Three sisters and one brother are deceased.
The body is at McCracken – Thorn Funeral Home where friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
