Azalia McDonald Tueller, age 89, Logan, died March 22, 1988, at the Sunshine Terrace, Logan.
She was born Aug. 22, 1908, in Brigham City, a daughter of Angus Alexander and Roxanna Luella Ham-son McDonald.
She married William Von Almon Tueller on June 6, 1928, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died in 1972.
She had lived in Perry for 17 years; Geneva, Idaho for 36 years; and Logan for the past 25 years.
She was graduated from Albion Normal school, a state teachers institution in Albion, Idaho. She taught school in Idaho and Utah.
She loved gardening, painting, oil and charcoal handwork and genealogy.
She spent many hours visiting and comforting the sick and lonely.
Mrs. Tueller was an active member• of the LDS church and served as Primary president in the Geneva LDS
ward for 16 years. She also was a teacher for 23 years. She was president of the Relief Society and was a visiting teacher until she was 85 years old.
She was an ardent temple worker.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, Mack and Iona Tueller, Smithfield; Lester and B.J. Tuller, Logan, daughter, Linda Tueller, American Fork; and four daughters and sons-in-law, LaRee and Bill Burgener, Rexburg, Idaho; Gay and Wayne Pace, Orem; Marva and Richard Heaton, Ogden; Joan and Tom Bingham, Ogden; 31 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Jennetta Tueller, Boise, Idaho; Ruth Cazier, Brigham City; two brothers, Vernon McDonald, Boise, Idaho; Winfred A. McDonald, Star, Idaho. She was preceded in death by seven brothers.
Funeral services were held Saturday in Logan. Burial was in Providence cemetery.
