Mrs. R.D. Firebaugh, of near Lexington, who would have been ninety-three years old next October, died at her home Thursday, and funeral services were held yesterday from Bethesda Presbyterian church, Rockbridge county. The deceased had been a member of that church for seventy-two years and was its oldest communicant.
Mrs. Firebaugh was formerly Miss Jennie Clemmer, of near Middlebrook. She was well known in Staunton and Augusta county, where many relatives survive. Among these are a sister, Mrs. W.C. Bosserman; a nephew, Harry E. Baylor; a niece, Miss Anne C. Bosserman; a brother, John L. Clemmer, of Middlebrook.
Also surviving are three sons; Robert Firebaugh, missionary to the Indians in Oklahoma; Emmett and Greenlee L. Firebaugh, both of Rockbridge county; and a daughter, Mrs. Earl Copper, of Rockbridge.
