Mary E. Lorenzen, 83, died at 3 o'clock Thursday morning at her home, 1643 McKinley avenue. She was a native of Germany. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. H. C. J. Hartman of San Antonio, and five sons: Christian, William, John, Charles and Colonel A. F. Lorenzen. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the residence. Services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock at Grace Lutheran Evangelical church, the Rev. Paul F. Hein officiating. Interment will be in Mission Burial Park under direction of Hagy & McCollum.
Pallbearers will be F. Hummert, H. A. Dimaline, H. D. Rheiner H. Geyer, H. A. Ochs and C. Denison.

Mrs. Lorenzen's maiden name might have been spelled Nicolaysen. She was Mr. Lorenzen's second wife, the mother of Charles, Sophie and Anton.
She was christened April 27, 1841 in Burkal, Tonder, Denmark (then called Tondern, a part of Prussia).
