She was born on March 14, 1922 at Leola, Arkansas, a daughter of Bryan and Georgie Stiles Dial.
She was a retired secretary with the State Department of Education.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. L. Eidson; and a granddaughter, Sherri McCurry.
Survivors include a son, Sam Custer and his wife Pam of Little Rock; two daughters, Mickey Elmore and husband Kenneth of Maumelle and Margie Godfrey and husband Bill of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Claire Custer of Little Rock, Truett McCurry of Little Rock, Debbie Bounds of Yukon, Oklahoma, Cindy Sanders of North Little Rock and Becky Godfrey of Little Rock; two great-grandchildren, Emilee Bounds of Yukon, Oklahoma and Richie Sanders of North Little Rock; and a sister, Carolyn Dierickx of Farmington.
Interment was at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
