Mary Louise Davis died at her home in Claremont, NH on June 26, 1985 after a long illness. She was born on November 20, 1916 in Claremont; the daughter of Asher and Rose (Therrien) Nelson.
She was a lifelong resident of Claremont. She was employed by the Valley Regional Hospital in food preparation, retiring in 1982.
She married Edwin Frank Davis on May 17, 1941 in Newport, NH and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by son Edwin Jr in 1968.
She leaves four sons Elliott Davis, Kenneth Davis, Richard Davis, and Arthur Davis all of Manchester, NH; two daughters Beverly Harris of Claremont and Yvonne Ferland of Andrews, SC; twenty two grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; six brothers Henry Nelson, Roy Nelson, Tom Nelson, and Bert Nelson all of Claremont, Medric Nelson of Alstead, NH, and Asher Nelson of Nashua, NH; and three sisters Blanche Sullivan of Springfield, VT, Eva Davis of Hartford, VT, and Alice Patch of Claremont.
Burial is in St Mary's Cemetery.
