JoAnn (Wilkins) Deeble, born April 14, 1931 in Lead, SD, to Byron Leon and Alyce (Strong) Wilkins returned to her Father in Heaven March 20, 2010.

She married her eternal companion, Joel Deeble, May 4, 1946. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple May 30, 1973.

She was the loving mother of Robert (Maryann) Deeble of Eagle, ID; (James) Mary Jane Stival of Bella Vista, AR; (Rick) Elizabeth David of Idaho Falls, ID; (John) Alyce Sue Goodell of Sheridan, WY; (Brad) Bonnie Jo Rowe of Las Vegas, NV; (Robert) JoAnn Robbins of Torrington, WY, and grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

JoAnn enjoyed many activities including bowling, golf (achieving a hole in one), traveling and making Christmas stockings for her grandchildren. She was very active in her church callings and provided loving service to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Bonnie and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at McColley’s Chapel of the Hills in Custer, SD, and from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Newcastle, WY.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 26, 2010, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Newcastle with Bishop Robert Webb officiating.

Interment will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March26, 2010 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley’s Chapel of the Hills in Custer.
