The death occurred on Monday, August 31, about midnight, of Laurence Fallettie of Canmore. The deceased, a miner , had been suffering with cancer of the stomach and unable to work for seven months. The remians sere interred in Banff cemetery on Thrusday afternoon, the funeral arrangments being under the auspices of the B.P.O.E. , of which organization deceased was a member and bandmaster. Rev. David of Canmore, conducted the ceremony, services being held both in the church at Canmore and the cemetery at Banff. The cortege coming into Banff was led by the Elk's band, playing beautiful and impressive music. The long procession of mourners followed. A widow and three children [ survive.
