Percy A. Williams, old-time resident of Banff, died following a lengthy illness at his home, 331 Marten Street, last Sunday evening.
Born in London, England, Mr. Williams came to Canada in 1913, and went to Bankhead, where he lived for a short time. He then moved to Banff, where he has since resided.
He was proprietor of the paper and decorating firm of P.A. Williams & Son. During the First Great War Mr. Williams served with the Home Guards prisoner of war camps at Banff and Castle. He was a member of the Banff branch, Canadian Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, one son, Nelson, three daughters, Mrs. C.R. Shaw, Mrs. Reg Harris, all of Banff, and Mrs. J.A. Stenton, of Edmonton; and eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
