Friday, February 19, 1943Page ThirteenWarren ReidEllaville, Ga., Feb 18 – Funeral services were held for Warren Reid, a life-long resident of Schley county, on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock, at the residence of his son, Jodie Reid, on the Americus-Ellaville highway.Rev. Hugh Dozier, assisted by Rev. Lucius Polhill of Americus, officiated. Burial was in Ellaville cemetery.Mr. Reid was the son of Alexander Columbus Reid and Eliza Gibbons Reid. He married Miss Jennie Allen, also a resident of Schley county.Survivors include five daughters and three sons, Mrs. Lester Dykes, Andersonville; Mrs. Council Bass, Americus; Mrs. Minnie Blythe, Junction City; Mrs. Lewis Wall, Thomasville; Jodie Reid of Schley county; Allen Reid, of Atlanta; and John Robert Reid, of South Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. T. J. Royal, of Ellaville, and Mrs. E. H. Wall of Schley county.
